About Me
- Name: Cindy
- Location: Midwest, United States
Losing weight, gaining insight, maintaining weight loss, and blogging since 2006. By taking care of the underlying causes of my overeating and eating less, of course, I lost around 60 pounds by the Summer of 2008. I acheived a normal body mass index for the first time in years. Then I fluctuated within about 12 lbs of my lowest weight for over four years. In 2013, I had a couple of surgeries that altered my lifestyle and diet. I gained 10 more pounds. Now it is time to get to my happy weight! So for 100 days I am using the South Beach diet plan, and exercising each day at least 1//2 hour or more with a minimum of two days with 1 hour or more of exercise. Share the joy with me!

Eww, that fat is so gross. I had no idea there was so much "mass" difference between the two. I knew muscle was smaller, compared to a pound of fat, but didn't know how much smaller. Wow.
And yes, like you I have a few size 6s among my 8s (which is so surprising to me, still), and truth be told, if I could get off 5 pounds the 6s would look a lot better. But, I'll be darned if I'm gonna buy 8s when they are a smidge too big when I intend on losing a bit more. That's the way the JJill slacks are. The 8s probably would look better right now, but they were a bit baggy in front and when I lose 5 pounds, they would be too big. So, I bought the 6's and I wear Assets under them and they look fine.
I'm also guilty of only shopping where the sizes are flattering to me. I've tried on clothes at Target before. They don't vanity size. I don't shop there. Pathetic, I know. Oh well.
