Losing weight, gaining insight, maintaining weight loss, and blogging since 2006. By taking care of the underlying causes of my overeating and eating less, of course, I lost around 60 pounds by the Summer of 2008. I acheived a normal body mass index for the first time in years. Then I fluctuated within about 12 lbs of my lowest weight for over four years. In 2013, I had a couple of surgeries that altered my lifestyle and diet. I gained 10 more pounds. Now it is time to get to my happy weight! So for 100 days I am using the South Beach diet plan, and exercising each day at least 1//2 hour or more with a minimum of two days with 1 hour or more of exercise. Share the joy with me!

Cindy, you look like a totally different person from your before pic. Isn't that amazing?! Your after pic is awesome!
I totally know what you mean about not liking yourself in pictures, though. I deal with that, too. All the time. But you know deep down you look good, you feel good, you're in small clothes, and pictures really do lie. It's that 2D thing, messes it all up.
